Friendship

What does true friendship look like? It has been said ‘you don’t choose your friends, your friends choose you’. For in times of trial and pain, we need people who will stick with us no matter what, because they have chosen us. Therefore they do not run away when we are in need, as we all are sometimes. The beautiful thing is that these times of need or trial can actually forge stronger and deeper friendships. When we are seen in our time of vulnerability, and loved, it is like a beautiful flower flourishing after the rain. We can be so thankful for the people that love us unconditionally, and show them our gratitude. And when they need us, we can be there to support them in their storm.
