What does it mean to be important? Are people who are known as public figures more important than those who are not? Is fame a sign of success and accomplishment? What about the everyday person who is consistently going about their daily lives, largely unnoticed by the rest of the world?
Certainly it is not wrong for someone to be famous or a public figure of some sort, they have the opportunity to bring change and influence to large groups of people. But alongside that reality, is the one that what each of us does matters.
The bulk of humanity is going about their daily activities largely unnoticed by large swathes of the population. What they do is extremely valuable. How you choose to live your life and the values that you base your decisions on have a powerful effect. You are extremely important, and if what you do is never noticed in a public setting, it does not make it any less crucial to humanity.
